What can I say about photographing this family and newborn session other than the fact that it was totally awesome and I absolutely loved it!? The Gibson family are homesteaders, and place a focus on the simple things in life. Brittany has documented their whole journey on her blog and It covers everything from growing their own food to being wise consumers by avoiding things such as plastics or paper towels. Their home is beautiful and it was super fun to photograph this sweet family amongst the comforts of their picturesque home. I actually had the privilege of photographing their son’s birth and It was such a joy to watch them settle in as a family of four and get to know their newest little guy! It was so cool witnessing and capturing some of the first moments of bonding between the two brothers! I definitely love the lifestyle vibe of an in home photography session, and this session definitely did not disappoint!
